A wise choice indeed

Occupational Therapists

At present, occupational therapists must be registered to practice in Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Registration is through each states registration board www.cotrb.com.au/otherboards.htm . If you hold overseas qualifications, you will need to apply to the COTRB to have your qualifications assessed and accredited for you become eligible for limited/conditional registration.

Registration is not required in Tasmania, New South Wales, Victoria or the Australian Capital Territory.

If on a Working Holiday Visa, only need to complete Stage 1 – Desk Top Audit by the Council of Occupational Therapists Registration Boards (COTRB). On successful completion, they will issue a letter stating your eligibility to work, allowing you to apply for Registration in the appropriate States/Territory.

Please submit your enquiry and one of our Consultants will contact you to discuss your options more fully.
